Today we are adding transcript summaries to InstantTranscriber.
When a transcript is eligible, InstantTranscriber can now create two summary views: a very short summary for the transcription list and a longer summary in the transcript viewer. The goal is simple: help you understand what a recording is about before reading the full transcript.
How it appears
Your transcript still appears first, so you can start reading, copying, or exporting right away. If the summary is still being prepared, the app can show that status and update the transcript viewer when it is ready.
In the transcript viewer, you can switch between the full transcript and the summary. The summary can also be copied or downloaded as a TXT file.
What Free users get
Free users can try transcript summaries on their first transcription. Standard Free plan limits still apply: 3 transcriptions per day, up to 35 minutes and 50 MB per file.
What Premium users get
Premium users get transcript summaries on eligible transcriptions, along with higher limits: unlimited transcriptions, up to 10 hours and 1 GB per file.
You can try summaries now in your InstantTranscriber dashboard.
