A stereo interview may have the host on the left and the guest on the right. Choose Left or Right, export a mono WAV and listen to the preview to confirm which voice it contains. Splitting separates channels; it does not identify or isolate speakers mixed together on one channel.

For a transcript of both sides of the conversation, use the original recording. A one-channel export contains only the audio from the selected channel.
